To strengthen Research and Innovation (R&I) on technological and economic areas of crossborder cooperation between relevant stakeholders. Identified technological focus areas:
High efficiency power converters,
Energy storage systems,
Devices and systems for improving energy efficiency.
MAIN OVERAL OBJECTIVE
To link existing knowledge, skills and R&I capacity of enterprises (Industry and SMEs), research institutions and stakeholders on the perspective technology and research intensive field of ENERGY CONVERSION AND MANAGEMENT. Identified focus areas are built on obvious technological and economic advantages of the cross-border area and are aligned with partner’s competencies.
Enhanced innovation capacity of enterprises by partner and target groups engagement to achieve the crossborder needed results. The results bring benefits to all stakeholders, especially to crossborder regions themselves and their IMPROVED CAPACITY to develop advanced smart products.
The partners UM FERI, Forschung Burgenland and FH-Kärnten, as research and educational institutions, are transferring knowledge to future scientists, craftsmen, entrepreneurs and form the project educational base. TECES, as cluster with collaboration networks (Industry and SMEs), is familiar with innovation needs and means to overcome the R&I fragmentation in the crossborder area.
